COMMERCIAL DEMOLITION
Motel 6 Columbus Ohio Demolition Asbestos abatement project:

Motel building burnt past repair. Conie Construction was contracted by Motel owner to completely demolish building. Asbestos survey was performed by owner and determined that enough asbestos was present that the EPA required all above slab materials would be hauled to an asbestos approved landfill.

To ensure safety of all employees working on site respirators environmental suits, and safety training were required.

Building was carefully brought down to eliminate dust.

All above slab material was loaded into dumpsters double lined with poly bags, loaded dumpsters where sealed and sent to a preapproved asbestos landfill. Manifests were filled out for every load and a copy provided to owner.

Sump pit dug to catch all run off water from dust control and washing of slab.

Slab cleaned and inspected by EPA inspector before removal.

All concrete slab and footers removed including all under slab pipe, conduits and wiring. Clean filled hauled in and graded to provide positive drainage on entire site.

Site seeded and mulched ready for final inspection from City.
